Armin is a Co-founder of ASPI and previously served as our Chief Commercialization Officer. Armin has 40 years of sales, marketing and business development experience working for and with healthcare product and service suppliers. Most of his career has focused on commercialization through contracts with healthcare purchasing organizations and key strategic customers.

Prior to co-founding ASPI in 2018 and spending the previous year building a healthcare consulting practice, Armin spent 16 years with Covidien (which was acquired by Medtronic in 2014). A recognized leader in healthcare commercialization, Armin led Covidien’s organization responsible for company-wide contracting activity with national group purchasing organizations (GPOs), the Federal Government, and other purchasing organizations contracting on behalf of aggregated healthcare providers. He also led Covidien’s corporate key/strategic accounts group and strategy.

Earlier in his career, Armin spent 18 years with American Hospital Supply, which was acquired by Baxter. There he held numerous positions with increasing responsibility in sales and marketing management, then corporate sales and national accounts. He also spent three years with national distribution company Bergen Brunswig (now AmerisourceBergen), where he was Executive VP of Sales & Marketing, and formed and led their medical corporate sales and national accounts organization.

Armin graduated with a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Whitman College. He has served as an advisor or board member with several healthcare associations.
